Klaus Nomi is a Queer Icon in his own mold. He was an Other, one of the ultimate Others. His image has become semi-iconic, but as an individual and as an artist he remains misinterpreted.

The afternoon wore on and the party got bigger and louder. Waiters appeared out of the aether to bring drinks and empty ashtrays. Plates of deviled eggs and buttered radishes manifested to get nibbled at. For Donnie, it all felt cheekily fun.
